In the process of using die-casting molds, there are many problems, so what are the main problems? Let’s get to know it together.
1. Heat fatigue, cracking and destruction are invalid
During the production of aluminum die-casting, the abrasive tool repeatedly receives the actual effect of stimulating the cold and heat, and the internal deformation between the two forming surface layers is involved, and the welding stress of the repeated cycle system is displayed. This causes the distribution structure to be two hazards and lack of patience, causing micro Cracks appear and continue to expand. Once the cracks expand, molten metal material is squeezed in, and repeated mechanical equipment ground stresses accelerate the expansion of the cracks. Therefore, on the one hand, the abrasive tool must be sufficiently heated at the beginning of aluminum die-casting. In addition, the abrasive tools must be maintained in a certain operating temperature range during the entire production process of aluminum die-casting to prevent early cracking and ineffectiveness. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the internal reasons before and during production of the abrasive tool do not cause problems. In production due to practical activities, most of the abrasive tools are invalid due to heat fatigue and cracking.
Second, the rupture is invalid
Under the actual effect of the injection force, the abrasive tool will sprout cracks at the most basic weak point, especially the line impression or metal processing impression on the formed surface of the abrasive tool is not polished, or the formed face milling area will initially show tiny Cracks, when there are ductile phases or thick crystals in the grain boundaries, they are simply cracked. When ductile cracking occurs, the cracks expand rapidly, which is a very risky element that is invalid for the rupture of the abrasive tool. Therefore, on the one hand, all the scratches and metal processing marks on the surface of the abrasive tool must be polished, even if it is in the position of the pouring management system, it must be polished. In addition, it is stipulated that the applied abrasive materials have high compressive strength, good plastic deformation, impact resistance and crack resistance.
3. Ineffective erosion
Common aluminum die-cast aluminum alloys include zinc alloy materials, aluminum alloy profiles, die-cast aluminum and alloy copper, as well as pure aluminum alloy die-cast. Zn, Al, Mg are more lifelike chemical elements, and they have a good infection with abrasive materials. Power, it is very easy to bite Al mold. When the strength of the abrasive tool is high, the corrosion resistance is good, and if the formed surface layer has soft spots, it will oppose the erosive mold gas.
